Counsellor – Senior High
A Senior High Counsellor's job is to keep our 13 to 14 year old guests safe and help them have a great week at camp. This means creating a fun and supportive space in the cabin for them to learn, grow, and make new friends. Counsellors live in cabins with our guests, eat meals together, and participate in evening activities. They also lead small group chats during Convo Cafe each night. All counsellors are required to instruct in a skill area for one period each day - this is called "Switch Em Up". Heads up: counsellors may be moved to other age sections throughout the summer based on our needs for the week. This will be up to the discretion of the Summer Program Manager. read more
Instructor Woodworking
Woodworking Instructors are responsible for leading fun and safe activities that help our guests learn new skills, make friends, and have an awesome time! Instructors run activities from 9am to noon and 2pm to 5pm each day, bringing high energy and quality instruction to their area. Each day kicks off and wraps up with team meetings, plus setup and cleanup of their area. Heads up: all instructors also help out with our Stayover Program by leading activities, staying in guest cabins as a stayover counsellor, and pitching in with a cleaning crew. They also assist with evening programs where assigned and participate in Sunday Arrivals. Instructors will also be assigned as transportation staff on at least one Saturday or Sunday throughout the summer. read more
Guest Relations Specialist
The Guest Relations Specialist plays a key role in creating a positive and seamless experience for Muskoka Woods families. This position focuses on caring for parents and guests before, during, and after their time at camp - ensuring that every detail is handled with accuracy, efficiency, and warmth. In this role, you’ll manage important aspects of the registration process, including payments, personal information, transportation details, and store accounts. You’ll also play an important part in guiding families through the registration and booking process - helping them choose the right program options, answering questions about availability, and assisting with upgrades or add-ons to enhance their child’s camp experience. Your goal is to make every interaction clear, positive, and confidence-building for parents while supporting the overall sales and enrollment goals of the camp. You’ll be one of the main points of contact for families, answering questions and resolving issues through phone, email, and live chat with professionalism, patience, and a genuine desire to help.
